What has SE said about double-raising? (wasted raise/swiftcast)

Double raising has existed since the first iteration of the game. It's pretty annoying because when you use swift cast, thin air and then raise -- it's 3 spells which takes time to trigger them all in the scope of everything and it also has CD which gets wasted.

Has SE ever mentioned any hint that they would refund the spells to whoever was second? It can be the difference between life and death when nobody has swiftcast or enough MP to raise and seems to be beneficial to those who do use voice chat versus those who don't use it. I know Yoshi P is big at keeping everything contained within the game for "equality" so this is why I bring it up in hopes for those of us who don't care to ever use discord to have the same equal treatment.

If anything, Swift- and Dualcast should be reworked in a way where it cant be used for Res. Most Healers dont even attempt to hardcast Res anymore, at least on Chaos Datacenter, since they are way too used to simply wait on swiftcast.

This is how you instantly kill RDM and SMN, and make Prog even harder for no good reason

removing this will only ensure you won't get rezzed at all during high movement mechanics, terrible, terrible idea.

For the most part, I'd like to think healers go about this based on the current circumstances. If 3 people suddenly died to a mechanic, the third is probably getting a hardcast rez. However, if the same dps has been dying over and over, showing clear signs of not knowing the mechanics, they're gonna stay on the floor until swiftcast comes back up. No point wasting all that time getting them up only for them to die 15 seconds later. I can't speak for other healers, but if they were to rework swiftcast to make it incompatible with Raise, I'd be a lot more selective with who gets a rez and who doesn't, so it wouldn't solve anything, just create a new problem.

As for rez overlaps, I usually just wait a bit to see who the other healer is going to rez, then use mine. No need to send out rezzes within a split second of the DPS dying.

Considering it's been like that since antiquity, it's safe to say that it's working as designed. Please don't make me have to sit around during a phase transition to raise the tank who died to some DPS' stupidity.

I'm thankful for RDM as backup rezzers especially for crazy hard trials (Savage/ult). Unfortunately some people assume the wrong thing and think you guys can raise at any level which is not the case.

Every healer should memorize: RDM Level 64 verraise.
