Even if its later in the expansion life. Tokens remain relative, no one has to do 56 runs of copied factory for a chance at rolling on a reaper top.

Imagine playing the game.
Honestly, I agree; I think they should do that as soon as an alliance raid is no longer current. In other words, when the next alliance raid came out, or when the next expansion dropped.
So when Puppets' Bunker came out, you could use the Manufactured Coins to get any of the pieces from Copied Factory. When Tower at Paradigm's Breach came out, you could use the Puppets' Coins to buy any of the pieces from the Bunker. And when Endwalker came out, the Breach would unlock in the same way.
Basically, as soon as the gear from the alliance raid is no longer relevant in terms of ilevel, it's basically only glamour. At that point, it doesn't matter if you can buy it with tokens as opposed to rolling on it or not.
(On the other hand, I suppose I really value some of my Skallic and YoRHa Type-53 gear, because I ran that dungeon and that alliance raid a lot just for glamour...)
I aim to make my posts engaging and entertaining, even when you might not agree with me. And failing that, I'll just be very, VERY wordy.Originally Posted by Packetdancer

I'm dreading to discard some of these glams because who knows if these pieces will ever drop again. RNGesus do be like that ;_;
I must have run Copied Factory hundreds of times since the day it came out and I have not seen the caster dress drop once across all my different characters. In the 8 years of playing this game I still to this day have never seen the Amon chestpiece drop from Crystal Tower. This is beyond ridiculous. These raids are no longer current and it hurts absolutely no one to allow us to buy these items with the stacks of coins we've since accumulated across countless fruitless runs.
I think thats a fair idea
3 coins for small pieces like helm,arms and 5 for body,legs
I remember it took me years just to see the WoD maiming boots in game
Yeah haha imagine, it's not like queuing for any out of season alliance raid like Ridorana or Orbonne takes half a century because everyone and their mother is either new or cheesing the ilvl requirement to force the roulette to choose Crystal Tower over and over again haha.
Just imagine going in as a tank and dealing with the worst co-tanks that only know how to spam provoke again and again only to lose aggro anyways because their rotation consists only of Goring Blade or something haha, isn't that hilarious?
Imagine going through this hell for over 20 runs trying to get the tank chest piece, the last remaining piece of gear that just absolutely refuses to drop no matter how hard you pray, for RNGesus is not a merciful god and you would be wrong to assume otherwise, no matter how many times he's gifted you with what you wanted on your first run haha.
Imagine finally losing hope and queuing for alliance raid roulette a week later for that sweet, sweet healer-in-need bonus, only for it to drop you right back into Ridorana Cataract, and for RNGesus to dangle the tank chest piece in your face as if to taunt you, only for the tank to snatch it right up without a care in the world haha.
But yeah, imagine playing the game right? That's so funny! So very, very funny!
HahahahahahaHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!
I've been asking for this for years. It took me ages to get the copied factory caster dress.
