Removing Hard Enrage.
Then everyone will "maybe" stop complaining about Job DPS balance in the tier rankings (Especially BLM being forced to constantly move). >_>

I think that is really short-sighted. Logically, it's one option, but "complaining about Job DPS balance" isn't something that will ever go away I think. As long as numbers exist, people will talk about how high one number is compared to another. The question is does this matter to such a degree as to necessitate what would essentially be the destruction of the framework of battle in the game?
Yea, not seeing how removing the hard enrage will keep players from comparing classes to one another.
Especially those who complain about tier lists.
Elitists are going to be elitists regardless of what changes they do to the game. The only way to change that is to slap them silly IRL until it falls out of their ears... >.>
Most of the analysis of dps numbers is from runs of the extremes which were nowhere close to hitting the hard enrage. And we've had fights in this game with no hard enrage or hard enrage timers so long you would literally have to be dead most of the fight to hit them and people still cared about dps balance.
Even if there were no hard enrages, people would want to play jobs that let them complete content faster. Why take 10 minutes per run when it could be 8 minutes per run?
Enrage is a player performance problem, not a Job performance problem. Every Job can clear every content.
I don't think it'll do much for job balance(certainly it won't affect people that want the fastest min-max meta strat and composition), but I do agree that enrages should be removed. Even if it takes them five minutes longer than it should have, who's to say a win should be denied to a group of players that may have limped across the finish line but nonetheless were able to sustain themselves through to the end?
Here's reality, there no way to do it ever..not on so much jobs and the way this dvs work.
I mean I bet you could make every job play the exact same way, have the same number of skills and someone will figure out a better way to hit 1,2,3.
That is life of gaming and I love it!
