As someone who played DRK in SHB and Endwalker, here are changes I would like to see for the job.

Enhanced unmend: Next plunge grants 600 mana.

To most this was this was an insult and might as well be removed, but if it stay

Oblation: 10% barrier shield on top of the 10% reduced damage.

Shadowbringer: remove it and replace it with enhanced TBN: when TBN breaks refund 1500 mana and replace edge/flood of shadow with shadowbringer.

This ability really doesn't feel like it adds anything and with what other tanks got TBN feels weak.

Living dead: while in walking dead, all shields are converted in HP, when HP has been healed by 100% grant back from the dead HP can't be reduced below 1.

Can't suggest DRK changes without talking about living dead. It eating shields would make it so the DRK could heal themselves with TBN and oblation while shield healers would have a better chance at saving them. Back from the dead is just so you don't have to time the healing they the maximum effect of living dead.

Delirium: (this is just flavor that could be excluded: delirium puts you in a DNC technical step like state where you must complete a pattern chain. The pattern would replace the 123 combo and after completing it, you would get 4 stacks of delirium) 4 stacks of delirium can be used on hard slash, siphon strike, soul eater, bloodspiller and unleash.

Hard slash: big potency increase

Siphon strike: potency increase and 1800 or 1200 mana

Soul eater: potency increase and a heal over time

Bloodspiller: potency increase and a damage over time

Unleash: radius and potency increase, cost 4 stack of delirium

This would help differentiate delirium from inner release.


These were just changes I had in mind from experience with raiding and dungeons. I would love to hear some opinions or other ideas if anyone reads this.
