Q:
With patch 6.0 , support for the PS5 DualSense controller's 'adaptive triggers' for PC was added:
  • In game, what is it supposed to do/add?
  • for each/any of the answers to above, how are they supposed to be configured/enabled?
  • Ideally, where is such documented officially?

Under 'System' I have chosen PS5 as the controller type. I have vibration enabled. I have sound coming out of the controller. I can feel vibration when walking and mounting etc but... I can't work out what on earth is supposed to be different about the triggers with support for 'adaptive triggers'. I understand that the principle is that the triggers can provided programmed, variable haptic feedback, but how this is suppoed to be used in the came I cannot work out.

Can anybody please help?

Thank you.
