Major Packet Loss/ Ping issues since yesterday

I usually have around 250ms (since I play from EU) and have gotten used to it, but since yesterday have had insane ping and the game is just generally unplayable. From every action taking 5 seconds to input to dcs being incredibly common. I don't know what happened but I don't think it's on my end since I can connect to my EU alt and play just fine. Anyone having the same issue or know if SE has said anything about this?

Ridiculous that we have gotten zero replies on this. I have been experiencing this nonsense since yesterday and I think SE is just ignoring this issue.

The same. I play from Singapore on Mana server. Connection used to be quite good but since yesterday afternoon ping became unacceptable. Also, several seconds lagging and cannot hold for 3min till server kick me out.

Ok I feel a little better thought it was just me, lag and ping is so bad its unplayable, no issues with wow gw2 or poe.

Same here, been experiencing terrible lag since last night and all throughout today. I play for Australia on Crystal - Mateus.

Seems like it's only a portion of players experiencing this, but hopefully can get some eyeballs on the issue from SE soon.

Same, for some reason its been happening since yesterday- and its just unpleasant.
the queing has died down for sometime now but this just bites the cake a bit too much.

Like my connection is fine, speed is fine, but apparently FF14 disagrees

Adding another one to the pile; been noticing frequent lag spikes when playing on Aether (NA) from New Zealand today. Pinging the datacenter several times after noticing the issue (and restarting my computer and router) revealed consistently ~20% packet loss (100-packet tests, done about twice per hour, for the last ~6h). Incidentally, no issues when connecting to Chaos (EU) - it's possibly an issue specifically with traffic inbound to NA.

Been playing on NA Crystal all my XIV life (about four months) but only now experiencing high latency. Tested playing on EU and JP data centers, both ran smoothly without latency, so it's only on NA.

There is an undersea cable fault causing issues for some games/apps. Perhaps this is affecting most of OCE and not just North Asia?
