Roulettes hardly give any exp?

I leveled my MNK from 80 to 89 in 3 days just from roulettes and daily Hunts, so they still give quite a lot. I averaged 3 levels a day, it's not nothing.

I run :
MSQ (fish for Praet, leave Castrum)
Leveling
Frontline
Alliance

And do Hunt bills while I'm queuing.

Also, I noticed roulettes gives less XP at lvl80 and get a big boost to xp reward once you are 81, so you might want to skip that level for roulettes.

WHM 80->90 in one day, no challenge log bonuses.

Did dungeons until 88. For some reason Praetorium gave me 90% of a level.

It's done this three times now on three different Jobs--seems to depend on being 88 or 89.

Then I got 89 in a trial and most of the way to 90 doing leveling dungeons and then Alliance roulette.

Was hoping to have more of a discussion about the lack of exp given by roulettes now, shouldnt it be concerning? I understand /how/ to level 81-90 efficiently. My shock is that it's so underwhelming they're not worth running, which from what I understood I thought roulettes were the lifeblood of DF, keeping content alive and filled for new players.

I've noticed the same. Did two leveling roulettes on a 0 xp level 80, and despite getting Dohn Mheg (73) and Malikah's Well (77) which should give decent xp in their own right, I only ended up 66% into the level.

Frontline (queue with class you want to level, change to class you want to use when get in), MSQ, Leveling and Trial roulette offer good exp.



Outside of daily bonuses, if you do lv81-89 dungeons, you will likely do 3 runs to gain a level.


Also pixie quests which give you 990k exp, which ranges from 1/5 exp bar to 1/10 exp bar depend on how high your level. There are also hunt quests which help if you want extra exp once you unlock flying.



If you just want to rush to max level, go Zadnor. Someone said it takes 6 hours in Zadnor to level up a class to 90.

I made a post about this as well. It's way less than we used to have. I'm not sure if it's by design or an oversight. I personally only bother with running them if I need tomes nowadays. Don't find it worthwhile to run them for leveling.

Mr. Happy put a video out of this like less than a day ago. They were buffed with 6.01, i think they are fine. Ya'll are wanting too much for too little work.

Starting with basically no exp at 89 MCH yesterday, I did one Alliance roulette, and one leveling roulette, and got my entire level. Compared to what I got on Wednesday for doing it at 82~83, it's way more exp at the far end of the 80s for some reason.

On topic, regular Endwalker dungeons have definitely been buffed. It was taking me two days to get a Job to 90 by dungeon bashing before the patch, and now it takes me one day.

All of them give good amount, but certain dungeons do nerf it a bit if you're unlucky.
