tbh there is no difference if you could solo it in shadowbringers you can solo it now

I've solo'd all HW content up to Zurvan EX, aside from Sephirot EX, which I think I could do of I knew the mechanics. Dunno I'd the SB stuff is possible at the moment.

This isn't really true as the expanded/altered tool kits of some classes as well as the relatively increased stat pool you have allow you to both do more damage and take more damage than you used to. Plus, I'm not sure if anyone has tested the new buff for old content but depending on whether it actually makes you relatively stronger than you used to be when it's active that may also open up new doors. I haven't done much exploration myself but MrHappy has already solo'ed a few more things than he was ever able to before because of the new abilities and stats.

Mr Happy already posted videos soloing Byakko and Shinryu Extreme, I don't think those 2 were possible to solo in ShB.

You could get through most of phase 1 in shinryu with maximum echo in ShB at least, but it was very slow and difficult.

Sephirot EX is likely not possible, due to the color mechanic of part 2. If you get green, the towers will kill you. If you get orange, you'll need an immunity. You will also get at least a damage down regardless because of the towers.

After that, there's more towers to worry about which will make the damage downs even worse.

I didn't try the edge-case EXs, but immediately prior to Endwalker, you could easily solo the entire MSQ in i530 gear.
Except Susano Normal (if you can solo the sword, I don't know how) and Tsukiyomi Normal (I'm sure it was possible, but I couldn't manage it.)

I find the ex's a little bit easier to both solo and duo. 84 is stronger than 80 for sure, add in the better food and armour and it does help.
