Suggestion for new caster

Geomancer has been teased since 4.0 and I think it’s identity as “far eastern white mage” would work really well. Something id like to see with it is placeable totems that buff the party or debuff enemies. Earth totems increase the damage you deal to anything in their range, water totems put a dot that heals you for the damage the dot deals, wind totems speed up your GCD or refresh your dots that are currently on cooldown. Something along those lines. I like having jobs with lots to keep track of and I’m 100% in favor of a really challenging caster being added considering summoner’s laughably easy state right now.

I couldn’t resist when you mentioned totems and white mage. Scroll down to see descriptions there are so many totems. Resto Shaman is a very fun healer to play. I think the coolest totem is spirit link, which evens out the HP of the entire party. So if people are really low it takes health from others to balance.

Elemental shaman is the dps caster with totems. I really like Ele too it has alot going on. I max shaman every expansion.
