I'm genuinely uncertain why some users on this forum assume literally any feedback about something they liked from another game is just trolling, this is such a innoculous post about an option many people enjoy in another game and we're over here like "Stop making it like X" when it would do 0 to harm the game in the long run

The desire of convenience leads to quality of life improvement. Why do it in 2 butons when you can do with just one? You may not feel want it now, but if it is ever get implemented, you will also one of people who benefits from it.

This sounds great, until you can't see npcs at all because people are mounted on the giant novelty mounts and npcs just disappear.

you know what, you right? i forgot that there is so many oversize mount in ff14 now

i still use the good old chocobo and the boreas even until now because i just dont like oversize mount lol

You can just press the unsheathe button, immediately unmount you. Default on keyboard is X

On controller, if you have already highlighted your target, this locks on rather than dismounting you. That is my one complaint.

just delete mount, problem solved, instead of mount, now our sprint is equal to mount speed and unlimited duration, no idea about flying though, just put swimming animation on it i guess.
