A suggested change to Dragoon's Dragon Sight ability

With the release of Endwalker Dark Knights saw a change to how Salted Earth functions. It used to be a ground targeted AoE, but it got changed to being a ground AoE that spawns under the player much in the same way the Ninja's Doton ability works. A change that was made because most everyone macroed it to work that way anyway.

With that in mind, I'd urge the developers to take a look at the Dragoon's Dragon Sight ability, as that too practically requires you to macro it for it to function properly.

What does Dragon Sight do? It gives the Dragoon a damage increase for the duration, but more importantly, when cast on another player, it also gives them a minor damage increase if they remain close to the Dragoon for the duration of the ability.

What is the issue? The Dragoon player has to switch away from their enemy and current target, to then target another player, to then use the ability, and then switch back to their previous target. Needless to say, this is really tedious and feels super awkward to use. Especially in the middle of combat. So most players end up just macroing the ability to either target a specific party member, or to target the mouse-over target, or they simply don't use the extra effect of the ability. Basically, no one uses the ability as-is and thus it should see a change for much the same reason Salted Earth did.

    A proposed solution:
I would propose a solution akin to how the Dancer job works with their Dance Partner ability. Give Dragoons an ability to designate another player in the same way, such that when they cast Dragon Sight, the designated player is automatically targeted with the secondary effect of Dragon Sight.

    Another small suggested change:
There is also another niche issue with this ability. Namely that the CAST RANGE is a bit on the smaller side. This can be an issue in the case where the Dragoon is the only melee dps player in a party, forcing them to use Dragon Sight on a tank as they can't guarantee another dps player will be in range when they have to use Dragon Sight in their rotation. Effectively "wasting" the secondary effect as a tank cannot take advantage in the same way a dps can since the do less damage.
Thus, to go along with the suggested change above, I would also suggest that the CAST RANGE of Dragon Sight saw an improvement. However, the EFFECT RANGE should still remain what it is, making it the other player's job to get close to the Dragoon to take advantage of the buff. The Dragoon should just have a much easier time actually getting the ability to cast and go off as that can be an actual issue with how the ability works currently for the reasons listed above.

I will admit there are times I don't target a teammate with the eye so this is a great idea.
