Dragoon or Reaper?

Hello everyone. I Just finished MSQ with my ninja and am preparing to level other jobs as well as do the extra stuff post-MSQ. And while I am loving ninja, I still wish to level one heavy armor melee job. I have always liked Dragoon but is Reaper very nice as well? Anyone with lvl 90 on both can comment on them? Appreciate it thanks

Imo, you should try both jobs first, them being fun/boring is relative and depends on each one's tastes. Its better that you try them for yourself and then decide

If you ask about performance:
Dragoon right now is a bit underpowered while Reaper is overperforming like crazy dealing comparable damage to SAM/BLM before adding RPR's raid damage contribution. Reaper is right now the DPS top dog but thats going to change for sure the question is "when"
Another side effect is that while DRG is still considerably popular, RPR is popular to the extreme to the point that unless you have a premade, youll have trouble finding groups for EX content and similar due to how many they are (unless they dont mind about having duplicates, but most want 1 job only), and being that strong only makes them even more used

Thanks for the reply. I still find dragoon fun. have been dragoon main since ARR. Am trying ninja now though for a change so my Dragoon is still lvl 80 haha. Just wanted to know how others who already has both at 90 find their experience with both and how fun they find both in contrast to each other

haha. yes i guess if you are active enough you will eventually level them all through the course of the expansion

i cant say anything for reaper but DRG is probably the most straight forward melee dps right now, the combo is simple, the rotation is only about weaving between your combo, thats about it.

i heard that reaper is the highest dps right now which is the reason iam not going to play it for now, they are so going to get nerf later on. unlike SAM, reaper is not selfish dps class.

I enjoyed lvl 80 reaper more than lvl 90 reaper.

Reaper are going to get nerfed, and also you'll be yet another Reaper.

Reaper is also incredibly dull when synced, which is important imo to some degree since you'll get synced down when you do roulettes a lot and older content in general.
Even people who love the Job generally tend to admit to this.

MNK is also op atm and will most likely get nerfed.
