Got them all to 80 and need to decide which to max out first. Looking for inspiration and anecdotes.

Probably Ninja for me because of the support skills it had (Smokescreen, Goad, slashing debuff, old TA), the dots and the limited amount of positionals it had. Nowdays, since all of that was removed and all melees only got 2 moves with positionals.. well, they kinda all feel the same for me. It's a par for Ninja and Dragoon for me, because the class fantasy is really good for both.
Monk, because other Melee dps are just being a handful.
Monk. I prefer the fluid skill usage over 1-2-3 in sequence.
Sam is next up but I dislike how many pointless buttons they have. Pressing three separate versions of the same button is just silly bloat.
Samurai
I Like those big ass damage numbers.
Gotta give dragoon a shoutout. Been my main through the entire story. Hitting a group with those line AOEs never gets old. Solo or group, doesn't matter, I'm always putting out tons of damage. And now that they removed the timer for Blood of the Dragon it's way easier to save those nasty combos for when you really need them.
I like the SAM resource system and feel the most, but the button bloat is just too much.
So MNK it is.
Reaper is my all time fave melee dps. Unleash the inner evil in you.
Red Mage, 'cause I can do magic too.
SAM for now, until Monk gets back its positionals and a bit more, besides, to do between Blitzes.
Loved 5.0 NIN, though. Would love to get that back but with a buffed Meisui and the streamlined TCJ...
