Market Board and Inn in Radz-at-Han

The only thing I find weird is that thematically, it really ought to be Sharlayan with the new, rare researched top-of-the-line tomestone gear; and Radz-at-Han with the bustling marketboard.

I *GUESS* it makes more sense that Rowena would set up in Thavnair, at least.

Spreading out the players causes a reduction of server load and zone congestions.

This is the primary reason it's done.

I set Old Sharlayan as my "free" teleport and Radz a Han as my Home Point, so I'm not paying anything to travel to those two cities, at least.

Please at least place an inn, lol. It's already kind of strange that a city bustling with luxuries and merchants doesn't have the marketboard (keeping spreading reasons aside), what harm will an inn do?

I generally use the inn when I'm in a farming party, so that I load quicker than if I was out somewhere else. So few assets to load, even on PS4 I'm usually loaded back out before most other people.
Or sometimes I will log out in the inn room in Ul'dah so that I can run from there to the GC barracks to deal with retainers and GC squadron right away before anything else.

Mostly for the glamour plate editing for me, I do a lot of that between dungeons.

This is what I did:
Set Old Sharlayan as free destination: 0 gil
Set Radz-at-Han as both home point (free teleport every 15 minutes) and set as favored destination: Cuts the teleportation fee by 50%

That's a smart idea Benjo. I've just been using the Confluence for the free Thavnair port and cheap port to Radz and my Return every 30 minutes.

Ya I found it weird Radz was the new hub. I feel like things should be the other way around as well and Radz should have the MB and Sharlya should be where the end game hub is at.

It would, lore-wise, you're 100% correct. But we always open up the during-the-story marketboard/inn city fairly early in an expansion (Stormblood being the rare case where we didn't get Kugane until after the first dungeon); starting us in Old Sharlayan story-wise made it pretty much inevitable which hub would be which.

More seriously, as others have said, glamour dresser access. My FC has a stylist bell in the FC house, but we can't put a glamour dresser in there.
