As someone who's been playing the Final Fantasy Franchise for as long as I can remember, often times we find main/party characters with a specific type of Armor design, one I'm particularly fond of. Below this are a few IMG examples of what I'm discussing.
As you can see, I'm speaking in reference to the presence of Asymmetrical Gauntlet/Glove armor. Presently, for Tank Classes, we only have the choice of Noctis's glove for this sort of thing.
It's actually entirely impossible to manufacture a character that has the same vibe as the above characters in lieu of Final Fantasy style armor that has the side, asymmetrical armor set in terms of gloves for Men.
The particular set I'd suggest for replication: Eikon Leather Armguards
The problem is, these items are only relegated to casting, striking, and maiming.
All other options that even remotely echo the above for Tanks are
The Corsages: A light flower on the wrist, not exactly what I'm looking for
Noctis's Glove: Only Obtainable in the XV event, which is over now, and I'd missed it in a hiatus I'd took. I know that's on me, but this speaks to the fact that this is the single one and only glove that can even get close to accomplishing the above glove-theme for Male Tanks.
Eastern Lady Errant's Gloves: Only available for Female PCs
The issue lies in, if I want to play a Gunbreaker, Paladin, any of the Tank Classes, I'm basically stuck choosing between the static Gunbreaker costumes, militant officer uniforms, heavy/Symmetry bound armor, or outright cosplaying a pre-existing character when it comes to gauntlets or gloves.
I know that there's a common opinion to "dress your class", but that option isn't exactly fair when there's so much variety in the Final Fantasy Characters we've all come to know and love. I'd argue that a gnb/pld/drk wanting something like this does not, in fact, break immersion.
