Not at all.

Being able to "own two houses" is quite clearly a problem. Someone suggested that it might "only" free up 300 houses per server; that's a TON of houses!!! Houses should presumably be one per account, in any case.

As I said, I would actually be negatively impacted by this change. I'm suggesting it because I believe it's the right thing to do; it's not fair that some players effectively have two houses, while so many can't even get one.

Now, I still believe in being able to TRADE houses, and even more so with this suggestion, because it would be borderline IMPOSSIBLE to have any sort of agency in getting your FAVORITE plot, wherever that might be. My private estate is one of those breach-front ones in the Mist, but I would happily trade it for a plot near my father's house. Or perhaps I would spend some of the gil I've been saving up, to try and convince someone with a Medium to trade plots with me; if they aren't super into decorating, it would be a Win-Win.

Otherwise, you literally have to HOPE that someone stops playing the game entirely, just for A house to come available.
