Thread: An Unexpected Error after 6.01 Patch Update

I just tried resetting the system settings and it still crashed. I'm stuck playing on DirectX 9 now.

Also gonna jump in here and say iv been having the exact same issue since the patch came out, having had no issues at all before hand. Iv tried reinstalling graphics drivers, making sure windows is updated, validating game files, even changing my cpu clock incase it was overloading as its an intense cpu game. But nothing has worked. Restoring the game via its client worked temporarily but when i played a few hours later the issue came back.

Really hoping they address this as it seems to be something out of our control. Iv played on directx9 a bit but even that can be prone to crashing from time to time.

yeah I tried to switch to directx9 and aside from the visual downgrade (which is a bummer) I cant load into any of the new zones without the game crashing
