Confused about Sarnga Limb Recipe

Please help me out. I'm having a problem understanding this new recipes:

Sarnga Limb requires:

• Treated Spruce Lumber
• Darksteel Nugget
• Darksteel Nugget

Treated Spruce Lumber requires:

• Spruce Lumber
• Spruce Lumber
• Hardened Sap

Spruce Lumber requires:

• Sarnga Limb

Which means if I need Spruce Lumber:
Spruce Lumber needs Sarnga Lumber which needs Treated Spruce Lumber which needs Spruce Lumber

Which means... how do I start?

Sarnga limb -> Spruce lumber is the "desynthesis" recipe.

Spruce log (gathered in... dragonhead) is used to make spruce lumber.
Spruce lumber + hardened sap -> treated spruce lumber
Treated spruce lumber +2 darksteel nuggets -> sarnga limb and HQ to flawless sarnga limb (the HQ is the only one you can use to make a sarnga)
If you don't HQ, you desynthesis the NQ sarnga limb and have to start over ~_~

If I don't HQ and get the Flawless Sarnga Limb, I turn the NQ back into 1 spruce lumber O.o!

So without HQ:
2 spruce lumber + sap + 2 darksteel nuggets = 1 spruce lumber

Ehhh, depends on how much it sells for I guess, but it's probably not. The only purpose Spruce Lumber has in the game right now is to make that bow. People crafting that bow are generally going to want HQ parts, so what good is getting back a (likely to be) NQ lumber going to do you?

Given that desynthing a NQ Sarnga Limb into Spruce Lumber necessarily means that you were previously attempting to HQ a Sarnga Limb, I can think of one immediate use for the Spruce Lumber you just got from the desynth: attempting another HQ Sarnga Limb.

Which is kind of the point.

his point is that if you use the normal spruce lumber trying to craft another bow, it significantly reduces your initial quality rating (when you could be using a +1 in its place), which means you're risking making a waste of your darksteel or hardened sap.

Sarnga Limb itself has ZERO use. Sarnga Limb NPC's for 612 gil. If spruce lumber <= 612 Gil on your server, then NPC it. If not, then synth it into more spruce lumber. The bow itself is pretty tough to make, hardened sap isn't very cheap and Darksteel Nuggets+1/Spruce Lumber+1 range from 500-700k on my server.
