How did people do Endwalker in 2 days?

I think it took me about 5 days, playing up to 3 hours in the evenings during the week, and most of the day on the weekend, to finish the story. Probably a total of 20-24 hours of actual playtime focusing solely on story. I didn't do any roulettes other than on Dec 3rd when I tried one alliance roulette and the raid damn near wiped on first boss of Rabanaster. Otherwise, it was full on story, and sidequests that unlocked aether currents.

It took me 3 days but would have taken 2 if I had taken Friday off. I didn't skip any cutscenes or skip past any dialogue nor did I feel like I was rushing in any way. Only things I didn't do were aether currents, I held off on those until after the MSQ which is what I always do. I just sat down and played all day before work on Friday and all day on Saturday and Sunday. And yes I had time to eat and shower. Even did a 30 minute run on Sunday.

People who tell you that they skipped the story because it isn't good should not be taken seriously. That's like reviewing a TV show you never watched. Ignore these people, and play through the story at your own pace -- then form your own opinions of it after you've completed it.

Took me 3 days I think to finish Endwalker, couldn't play it on the first day, however. Though I am working from home, so I could log in at 11AM and just keep playing until I had to do something else, no queues. I didn't skip anything, I just had a lot of time to play.

The "what now" for me is completing stuff that I didn't finish in the last expansion(s), and getting everything else leveled up/geared. And taking time to play other games and not log in to FF every single day, maybe every second or third.

The expansions (post-ARR) can each be done in less than a day's worth of playthrough when you skip cutscenes.

I still feel on the first time you should not be able to skip stuff.... on day two i saw ppl using a certain mount already while i wasnt even Garlemald yet lol
