Game lag & major stuttering/packet loss since patch 6.01 installed

I haven't had any issues with the game lagging or stuttering even in congested areas in Endwalker until I installed the patch for the 6.01 normal raids this morning. Ever since the patch was installed, I've been stuttering like crazy and lagging (in any content whether congested or not; even alone in my private estate). It's gotten to the point I can barely play the game.

I have done everything on my end from reinstalling the game, to refreshing my OS (because having a browser of any kind opened while the game was running was even making my PC lag so figured would reinstall OS even), to port forwarding; I even contacted my ISP which confirmed no issues on their end and our downloads/uploads had no problems even with the game running.

When I had my performance menu opened, my CPU was shooting anywhere from 15% to 45% just from XIV alone (nothing else running in the background except normal windows processes).

I couldn't find any related threads regarding this issue (except for normal stuttering/lagging; I also tried to change the compatibility setting as others have stated to do but that fixed nothing -- in fact it made it worse so reverted it...).

So I'm not sure what is happening or how to fix it. Please help.

Been having the same problems. Had almost zero issues on launch day aside from a couple disconnects. Have engaged in 100+ people fate runs with no issues. My internet connection is sound. My ping to the server is fine. And yet the very day this new patch goes live I'm suddenly stuttering hard, freezing for 20+ seconds and disconnecting as a result.

I've also been having lag issues since downloading patch 6.0.1. The problem only happens when I attempt to do duties/instanced group content. Everything will freeze from 5-10 seconds and then "rubber band" to catch up.

My internet is flawless with everything else. Windows is up to date. Using 5.0 wireless connection. I usually play late--11pm-2am PST.

Crossing my fingers for a solution that isn't having to purchase and use a VPN, as was suggested in various, months-to-years-old reddit posts.

Along with the sound issue i too sometimes have random laggyness where my fps go down to as far as 20-30 to then bounce back up to 60 after a minute

I haven't had any sound issues happen luckily... But even after "repairing" the game files (after reinstalling everything fresh), the issue is still occurring. I really don't want to pay for a VPN when my internet is fine...

My sound is also stuttering really bad now (I don't know if that is due to everything else stuttering or not but sound stuttering wasn't noticeable yesterday).

Same issue. Its constantly freezing and lagging , dropping to 0 fps. Ever since endwalker release i encountered some random freezing of 1 seconds mostly , " sometimes" , but now its becoming unplayable. Its constantly freezing mostly in any sort of combat since 6.01

Edit. Now.. teleporting between any zone puts me in 1 micro fps for like 10-15min while my cpu fan goes insane, then all of a sudden its back to normal . Ever since this 6.01 rolled out

This is the place we post for technical support right? Because it's been days, and I can barely play XIV (I'm actually getting motion sickness from the game and sound stuttering), and no Mod has once posted/reached out. Do mods just not post on things? Is there another place I can get support for this issue???
