it's gonna be World of Darkness - did you guys forget already that we sent familiar there and in few years we will have data analized and probably be able to reverse flood of darkness? Clear info from ShB what's gonna happen in expansion after next one (EW)

This did happen, but it's clearly locked behind having one of each role leveled, role quest for each completed, and Warring Triad completed. I don't see them requiring this of new players to access an expansion area.

Only options are to remove most of those requirements or make it side content that they can justify behind a content wall.

There's no way we aren't going to Corvus / Locus Amoneus; though my suspicion is that we're headed there in 6.1 for the trials, like we did for Werlyt. Or 6.2 for the relic zone, if there even IS a relic zone. Or that our Island Sanctuary is just off its coast.

If nothing else changes in the 6.x patches, like everyone else I'm expecting the New World, Meracydia, and the Thirteenth to all be big parts of 7.0.

Everyone is screaming Meracydia or New world.

World of Void in the 13th...Am I a joke to you? These story threads have been setup so perfectly I would be shocked if there is not something major coming. My guess is it starts with a major invasion starting in 6.1.

I've seen people mention wanting 7.0 to focus on going to the 13th shard and some how restore it from its Void status but I just don't see it happening.

The lore established the 13th was corrupted by Darkness so badly that not even the Ascians could reverse the effects to a point little amount of the 13th shard remains where the 13th shard once was. The World of Darkness is basically all that is left of the 13th shard while everything else is a Void of Darkness.

If they are going to explore more of the 13th Shard, I expect it maybe a side content being either a Raid, Alliance Raid, or some kind of exploration content that maybe used for 7.X Relic weapons.

I agree. Exploratory content into the 13th would fit it much better. This way they can expand the lore on it and allow it to be explored without messing with any of the previous known lore about it earlier in the game.

The 13th just seems like something that's much in the writing team's back pocket for them to just immediately pull it out. I can't see anything directly happening with that for a few years out. I also don't wanna rule out going to places within Eorzea itself because there are still a number of places that exist but aren't actually accessible in the current game in any form (like the Coerthan Lowlands, O'Ghomorro, or Southern Mor Dhona).

As long as “the new world” comes with a dual-wielding gunslinger, I’m good to go.

Maybe we can time travel back to when the Allagan Empire was at its peak
