    Divine veil not working?

    I cast it on myself then heal myself and the buff vanishes and no shield is given???

    PLD is the ONLY tank to not benefit from their group protect skill. It's also the ONLY one with a heal gate requirement to cast it, that more often than not, you're casting Clemency on yourself to get it off when you want to since shields from healers do not set it off. It's ridiculous and that heal gate should have been removed a LONG time ago.

    It is the strongest of the group protect skills among the tanks, so I can understand the PLD not getting it, but that heal gate? No good argument for that.

    From level 84 onwards you can actually use Holy Spirit to trigger the barrier effect, as Holy Spirit heals you.

    having the ability to pre req and having the stacks last for 30 secs make it easy to fit it in if needed on an emergency, you may lose 1 FoF GCD of course but i mean, its 1 GCD inside FoF or a wipe on emergency situations

    Could someone please explain the bold part in the newly revised tool tip:


    Upon HP recovery via healing magic cast by self or a party member, a protective barrier is cast on all party members within a radius of 15 yalms.
    Duration: 30s
    Barrier Effect: Prevents damage up to 10% of your maximum HP
    Duration: 30s
    Additional Effect: Restore target's HP
    Cure Potency: 400
    Effect ends upon casting barrier on self and nearby party members.


    ...what? The way this is worded makes it sound like as soon as Divine Veil is procd from the heal, the barrier is cast on the party members, but then the effect also ends upon casting the barrier, thereby nullifying the entire thing. Obviously this cant be the case, but this tool tip explanation is strange. I was also under the impression that the barrier cant be cast on yourself, so this makes it even more confusing.
