So...when are hyurs going to be able to look like this? (SPOILERS)

They seem to be mixtures of Viera and Elezen with hyur ears…? I am not sure if their posture is one or unique. But they have a few unique mixed elements. They sure do have the elezen hight I think? Because my miqo’te looks small next to the grown ups and she has my irl hight, now I am short anyway compared to a lot of north-west Europeans.

I find it funny how people have been saying the same reasoning for years now, ever since Lyse’s face was revealed. When in reality, there’s really only one reason:

Square Enix doesn’t want to and/or are very lazy. Especially when it comes to improving current character customization.

Also going to point out that some of the designs are from Yoshitaka Amano, and those will never be the mainstream face design because it's so distinctly stylized.

What about the Garleans? Their faces are so uniquely chiseled I wasn't even surprised that the Reaper quest NPC was Garlean purely because she had a distinguished face.

We only start with 8/14ths of a soul, so we can only look 8/14ths as good as an Ancient.

Humans or should I say "hyurs" in this game are just too plain looking, meanwhile our non playable counterparts actually look like they could be the primal slaying, war ending, entire universe saving Warrior of Light.

What NPCs get:

Yes I added trial bosses because they look better than we do ok?
Even the ever plain Lyse received an updated face with eyelashes and better eyebrows.

After they add the furry girls, do you suppose they could start giving the old races some love? Especially when they're going to keep rubbing it in our face how much better looking these NPCs look next to us.
And before you ask I do care about every other aspect of FFXIV, I enjoy it. Just don't understand why we can't look as bussin as these NPCs they keep adding.
