So...when are hyurs going to be able to look like this? (SPOILERS)

Humans or should I say "hyurs" in this game are just too plain looking, meanwhile our non playable counterparts actually look like they could be the primal slaying, war ending, entire universe saving Warrior of Light.

What NPCs get:

Yes I added trial bosses because they look better than we do ok?
Even the ever plain Lyse received an updated face with eyelashes and better eyebrows.

After they add the furry girls, do you suppose they could start giving the old races some love? Especially when they're going to keep rubbing it in our face how much better looking these NPCs look next to us.
And before you ask I do care about every other aspect of FFXIV, I enjoy it. Just don't understand why we can't look as bussin as these NPCs they keep adding.

If I remember correctly, and it was said a long long time ago in a forum far far away, they don't want players able to look like any of the story NPC's, why they all have a unique face model.

Square is very odd, at times they want NPC to be unique and they withhold faces and hairstyle and other times they sell them. One would think if they wanted money would sell those options in MOG Shop, but for some reason they don't even do that.

It'd be great to have a texture touch up to look that smooth, but not necessarily look like them.

I thought it was because they are the elder race , before Elezen became the gifted race gifted by the gods ( the twelve) that we dont know whom they are , and as we were told at the end of EW , to find out who they are , its most likely that Acians and Elezen share hereditary traits

They have some unique human and Elezen faces (without the ears), and Elezen like bodies

Five of those are not Hyur, they are Amaurotine/Ancient God/Failed Science Experiment. It's understandable that we can't look just like the perfect god-like beings of eld; the entire story is focused on the idea that we can't and shouldn't want to be those perfect god-like beings of eld.

It would be cool to look more like Lyse though.

I mean... they (mostly) have elezen faces and bodies, so really if anyone elezen should get those options!

Obviously, more choices would be nice for everyone. I do hope that rather than adding any new races, they now concentrate on updating the older ones.

Not sure on the others but Hythlo has a male Viera face.
