Alas, in these trying times, I can't help but think back to some of the greater days of FF's existence. In this thread, I would like you to post a memory or link or w/e of a favorite time / scene in FF series that you remember and cherish. For me it is:

And, my favorite FF moment of FFXIV was with the release of Darkhold (before they ruined it). When I had a ls that was lead by Hektor Warfield, and co manned by Filt, I had the best time/experience if FFXIV doing that dungeon. Alas, they are all gone now, prolly never to return.

VI had a lot of really memorable moments for me. The suicide scene, shadow's dream sequences, obtaining the airship in the World of Ruin, the empire unleashing the espers, the opera scene, the whole floating content segment...man, such a cinematic experience, huge step up from IV and V as far as scene direction and story telling

Beyond that, the Laguna segments in VIII, Auron's "Now is the time to choose" speech in X, and anything involving Delita in Tactics

I'm really so sad right now. I don't think this game will ever have that epic quality of days of old. And to boot, I lost yet another friend today who sent me a tell " I hope I can get into this game, ttyl" . I'm really sad right now, and thinking back to better days.

I will have to say that kefka scene above was one the most amazing things for me in the FF franchise. So many great things about that game.

I would have to say the best moment for me personaly would have to be when i camped Sozu in FFXI against Wadian and Honeyqueen, two notorious gil sellers on odin at the time, and getting my Thief's Knife drop as a lvl70 Thief. I was so damn excited, i played on ps2 at the time and i had to go get my digital camera to take a picture so my cousin would beleive me when i told him. They were super rare at the time and prolly cost around 100mil. If only i would of sold it then i would of had an even better FFXI experience lol. Oh well. Another great moment was finally beating omega after a billion attemps and dlvling my DRK from 75-72 and getting CoP access when it was newly released.

Fave Ff moment is when Cecil turned into pld. Looking at those XI avatar fights make me glad ours are not so bland =/

FFVI floating continent scene. The sheer spectacle of that whole section blew my mind as a kid, and it still sticks in my memory to this day.
