Petition for Legacy pre-Endwalker Sound Option

Since the supposed fix in 6.01 for the audio issues introduced with 6.0 only made things even worse for a great many people, I'm requesting that the pre-Endwalker sound engine be made available as a Legacy option in Sound Settings. At least until such time as the Endwalker sound engine gets fixed.

Support. This is a fantastic idea. It'd be a great substitute until the issue is fixed, and would make many people happier than they currently are. It'd also allow people to finally do the MSQ before people start lifting their personal spoiler limits, that deadline is soon.

I'm on board with this idea, assuming it's possible for the devs to do. If they can't fix the new sound engine at least let us use the old one which worked fine.

I support this petition.
My opinion is that this change has to be made immediately via a hotfix, which would allow not only us to enjoy the game properly, but SE to take all the time they need on trying to fixing the new engine.

Agreed, if it's possible. I have older hardware, yes, but neither the benchmark nor any advanced warning told me they were going to make changes to put the game out of the reach of that hardware. I could have planned to take measures. They took our money for the expansion happily knowing they had this change in the pipeline. They need to do something to fix things for affected customers.

If this is possible I would appreciate and use it, I have had minor sound issues in 6.0 that have become major in 6.01.

I support this. The sound issues that I've had since 6.0 have become unbearable in 6.01, to the point where I can't do a trial or raid without the audio devolving into garbage and ruining my experience.
