Laptop freezing completely when entering certain zone in Endwalker

Every time I try to enter the Andron, my laptop freezes completely and I need to force shut it down by pressing the power button. This only happens with the Andron, no where else. If my character is in the Andron due to a quest (and my laptop froze because of it, forcing me to restart the computer), my laptop freezes again every time I get past the queue, rendering me unable to even log into the game.

I'm using an eGPU, Razer Core X with Nvidia Geforce GTX 1060.
My laptop has an Nvidia Geforce GTX 950M, which I typically disable when the eGPU is attached.

I used DDU to reinstall my graphics drivers but the issue persists. Though I have found that if I disconnect the eGPU and use the laptop GPU, then I am able to enter the Andron without freezing. However, this is extremely inconvenient, especially with the long queues as of late and the fact that I need to disconnect the eGPU and restart the game every time I need to enter the Andron, not to mention the drop in FPS.

My suspicion is that something in the Andron does not play nice with eGPUs. Any help to fix this issue would be appreciated.

Still having this issue, the last thing I will try is reinstalling the game but I'd prefer if I don't need to do that.

Would you please stop blaming the Users for the Problems of the software and just work on your Direct-X 11 perfomance? Its sad how bad FF XIV work....
