The one reason I can't main a Bard

It just irks me that my regular attacks do not display your arrows. I assume they did this so all attacks register immediately instead of waiting for the travel time. But man, it sucks. It just looks so strange.

Even Rosa in FFIV displayed her arrows shot.

its actually disappointing you never ever really use auto attacks. I miss when skills were special abilitys you used at times, and then you used auto attacks for everything else. (i Miss that to be honest)

Being someone with 10th degree tunnel vision syndrome, I cannot main a Bard because I either forget my songs or get so focused on the procs and stacks that I shower in all the glory of boss AOEs... :sadface:

But doesn't things like Bloodletter register its damage after the animation is done? I might be mistaken of course.

Back on topic, my main, RDM, has an instant spell that has the animation of conjouring up multiple pointy things around me that then fly in arcs towards the target, a lot like many of the BRD attacks. But the attack register immediately as I press the button. After maining RDM since its introduction, I've got used to the delay even though when it its after the target had died, it still irks me a little.

To be completely honest, I hardly notice my auto attacks since I am always pressing a button on every job, but I am loving BRD as I level it for the role quest. Might make it my main DPS job.
