just a few nick picks at this point,

First off Id like more done with grand companies. Next I would like for some questionable actions. I would love the entire "good light thing to be droped in 7.0 completely.

Make us mercernys or just adventures, Yes I know typically you play the hero in final fantasy.

However typically (with expection for the first 5 final fantasys) you started out as common thief's/mercs etc. You even get sent to a dungeon which we have yet had happen in ffxiv, the scions got their imprisonment time and the most we got was leash scene in EndWalker..

(I know this won't happan but make use of skill glamors for every job)

    subjob-dream but won't happen.

Perhaps make something worth grinding for like unique role skills you have to fate farm for or something.

On a minor note, anybody else notice some characters necks are disproportionately long or sometimes bent at odd angles? I'd like to see that fixed although its not high priority.

I want this outfit. Any other previous job outfit would also be appreciated.

    Loporrits as a playable race.

Smileton as an actual housing area. I want my neighbors on the walls and ceilings and inside and outside and upside down.

(Gil sink idea) NPC that makes dyable lv 1 0 stat untradable replicas of armor pieces and weapons dropped in duties you have cleared... for a moderate fee. At this point I honestly don't see an actual glamour log happening. This would probably be the next best thing and require the smallest amount of work on SE's part and would help curb the economy inflation a bit.

Stop using 8 player raids as a method to clutter my inventory with tokens

Stop giving the mount whistles on ex trials to the person that spent 95% of the battle face down on the floor. Make that guy collect 99 totems for it if they don't want to learn mechanics. >.>

BLU having the same lvl cap as all other jobs and being able to enter instanced content like Bozja and Eureka which do not require a specific party role composition.

Music settings in menus where you can set music scores you've obtained to specific things. Like choosing your battle music, boss music, etc or leave it empty to get the game defaults we have now.

I knew the minute they released new stuff Ishgard would become MEH and people would want something else lol.
I wish they would just nuke housing completely and reworking it from the ground up and let everyone start fresh.
I would like cosmetic upgrades to skills you can get from achievements, activities, etc. maybe a few pallet changes or just overall changes to the way the skills appear or maybe having access to older skills that were pruned and their visuals.
I would also like for them at 7.0 to give players the option of starting from ARR to live the whole story or starting in 7.0 for a fresh start with the new story. Then they can go back and play the old shit through newgame+ or live the mystery of all the crazy stuff that happened before and figuring it out.

I am a relatively easy person to please so I dont have a lot of demands I sort of take things as they come. Oh, one last thing, that is a big deal:

Make a deep dungeon that each floor is patches of older dungeons slapped together. Go through all the dungeons, make "cut" places and tell it to reassemble them randomly. Make the mobs randomized from all those dungeons and just keep scaling up their stats as you go through. That way I can have harder 4man content to run with friends that doesn't require them to constantly add or tune new dungeons. Just let us use assets like before. Similar to how ultimate started "were just gonna reuse assets and make you something hard is that ok?" hell yeah its ok, LETS GOOO YOSHIIII.

Ouch! That sounds like you've encountered this in dusk vigil or something. That said, having run a few fresh alts recently, the early game flow almost encourages this to happen, believe it or not. What ends up happening is that you start off a fresh character, and hopefully run MSQ and class quests as you level up. The trouble is that between the MSQ exp rewards and the road to 80 exp buff, you gain so much exp in a single combat class that you will hit 30 likely around the time you're messing around Camp Drybone in the MSQ.

The trouble is that when the game guides you into completing up to the level 30 class quest in this situation without a problem, but right after you turn in the level 30 class quest, the guildmaster goes silent. There's no quest marker, not even red showing that you're missing prerequisites, no indication that there's anything at all beyond level 30 for your class. At that point, I'd expect new/unaware players to simply shrug and get on with their MSQ. Once you progress the MSQ to complete "Sylph-management", that (in conjunction with having completed the level 30 class quest) will make the job quest appear. If I recall correctly, though, the completion of said quest doesn't give up any notification or other fanfare that there's something special waiting for you back at your guild master to transition from class to job.

For the most part, I don't think there's much of a reason why this particular quest is so important lore-wise to unlock jobs (exception: Summoner as the first summoner quest doesn't make sense without beating Ifrit in "Lord of the Inferno" which is just 4 quests before this one). It would be nice to not be blocked so hard by the MSQ requirement to unlock jobs. It seems like for the most part that simply having airship travel unlocked is good enough and it's hard to imagine someone reaching level 30 without airship travel/dungeon access.

At the very least, there needs to be some fanfare when you satisfy the requirements for the job quest to show up so that it's obvious that you can go get an upgrade.

Of course, that won't help players like one high level archer I came across that had their job stone and chose to not equip it because they were intimidated by all the new skills bard has.

Hard, large scale content is something 14 really lacks and adding a savage (or extreme) version would be cool. If each boss were roughly as hard as an extreme trial and if the trash packs had a mechanic or two I think it would be really cool. How this would fit into the loot table is another discussion entirely and one I’m not suited to.
Sorry, but no thanks to that one. I'm already annoyed enough by stuff locked behind savage/ultimate that I'll probably never get around to (I did prog and complete one savage tier, but I'm not doing it again as the short-term joys of victory at each step simply wasn't worth the cost in the long run). FFXIV's idea of "difficult" is simply boring highly choreographed dance numbers that's like playing DDR with fingers. Once you pull back the curtain of mechanics it just becomes boring high-stakes repetition where any mistake by you or your party often ends up in a wipe and you start from the top. Adding 16 more people to the mix will only make it harder by virtue of more wipes during progression made worse by the fact that in such content, the time limit makes wipes costlier on earlier fights by taking away time from later fights, and progression on end fights will be harder due to the necessity of clearing all early fights on every attempt. This is unlike current savage where you can simply retry the later fights after clearing earlier fights just once each week.

IMO, we need bosses that can truly surprise parties with random/intelligent attack patterns which adapt rather than follow a fixed script. This would likely necessitate the near complete removal of "you made a mistake? You're dead" type of mechanics and simply make mistakes hurt a ton. Ultimately, it'd be more invigorating to play the part of MVP and make some key moves that reverse the party's fortunes and give your team the fighting chance to actually recover from the brink of a wipe.

    Texture update. Esp for hair.
I would love to have the crafting job gear not be locked to specific crafting jobs.
And I know this is wishful thinking... but would really, really like it if my current face had an option to toggle these lines in the middle of my face. I've had this face since ARR and I still don't like seeing these lines. (And I have a strong dislike for all the other male miqo faces.)

I'm not sure if they're adding any more jobs to FFXIV, but if they surprise us down the road then...lets see.

Beastmaster - Unlocked through Lyon rem Helsos - One Handed Axe and Shield (that way Gladiator/Paladin won't feel so lonely now).
Gambler - Unlocked in the Gold Saucer (guy that will look like Setzer maybe)? - They use Cards and Dice as weapons.
    Gunner - Dual Pistols
Mystic Knight - One-handed Magic Sword, maybe might make this available in Thavnair or Dalmasca (aftermath) same for Beastmaster.

    Zones -

I hope they were serious about re-visiting Dalmasca at some point in the future, and Mystic Knight and Beastmaster would feel aesthetically at home there.

    I'd like to see these.

More big raid contents. 24-40 men.
Graphics update. Fix the jagged edge please. Maximum is now Very High, new Maximum (with warnings about performance issues for lower spec rigs) will increase even more system requirements. Optional DirectX 12 (can start with beta and warnings about it) with Ray Tracing, DLSS and FSR.
    The usual new jobs.
Inventory needs like "Windows" selections. Hold CTRL for multple one by one, Hold SHIFT for top to bottom. Also, move all "job type" will be great as well. Annoying to do it one by one. Unless I missed it and it is already available.
No complaints about music. I still did not turn on my media player. Unlike WoW.
