Gearsets: How would you choose to redistribute the recycled models?

(May count as spoilers for what gear comes from Endwalker dungeons if you care about that.)

Spinning off from my disappointment at the majority of Endwalker gear being completely recycled sets - every role getting the same model as they did last time - I wonder how they could have been redistributed to other classes if they had gone that route?

My thoughts:

ALLIANCE (80)
Fending and maiming switch
Striking/scouting coats to caster/healer
Aiming jacket to striking AND scouting
Mage tunic to aiming

BONEWICCA (81)
Fending/aiming heavy robes to maiming (for reaper) and healer
Maiming armour to fending and striking
Healer/scouting tunic to caster/aiming
Caster vest with cape to scouting
Striking vest doesn't get reused

SHIRE (82)
Toss out the entire set and give us dyeable versions of the also-Sharlayan-themed Duelist/Thief/Plague sets instead. (The models are used for both the Arboretum and the Gubal Library hard mode, and Fourchenault wears one of the coats when not in his Forum robes.)

SKALLIC (84)
Fending/maiming coat to caster and aiming
Striking coat to fending
Aiming coat to healer (good for sage)
Caster coat to maiming (good for reaper)
Scouting jacket to striking
Healer jacket to scouting

PVP LEGENDARY BEASTS (86)
Hard to redistribute. Having these available to be bought/crafted is novelty enough.

SHADOWLESS (87)
It's seven varieties of heavy robes however you approach it, but passing the tank/maiming version to the mages might be nice. Healer gets the tank skirt.

NEO-ISHGARDIAN (88)
Fending/maiming to caster/healer
Striking to scouting
Healing to aiming
Scouting/casting to fending/maiming


(Compiling this list has made me realise I have strange tendency to writing "caster/healer" but "___ing" for the other roles.)

Don't really have a preference for which sets should've been redistributed to another role, but any of the above would've been better than the same set same role approach they took.

The precedent seems to be for new gear from dungeons in the odd numbered patches (eg. Skallic/Bonewicca/Alliance and Warg/Shadowless/Pagl'than) and recycled gear in even patches (Farlander/Volunteer and Anamnesis/Heirloom).

The tome, raid and alliance gear should all be original. At least it always has been until now.

Rather than redistributing stuff I feel we should just be able to glamour everything (except job specific things) regardless of role equip limitations.

This drives me crazy. Why did the Shire gear from Heavensward's last tier have to be simple recolors? Endwalker is the second time the chance is lost. For example, I really wanted to see Healers get the Casting version before when the models were re-used as dungeon drops, and now the Aiming set model for levelling gear. Yet it's all the same with a different color scheme.

I am baffled how no one thought to do this, or that it was denied if the idea was proposed.

More seriously, I did find the model reuse a little disappointing. Previously they have shuffled roles when they reused models, which I don't mind because it gives me a way to get a model I liked on one job for a job I play more often, or whatnot. It gives that gearset additional life because I can use it for glamour. With that not happening here... I just don't really care about most of these gear-sets.

Which, I mean, okay, I'm fine with my current glamours. But still.

I'm hoping this means we'll get some really creative new stuff for the raid and capped tomestone gearsets, at least.

I could see them, for contest gear, not wanting to swap around things too much. For example neo ishgardian was based on the winner of the ranged physical contst, so I could see them wanting to keep the aiming set with the same model.

Aside from that, while I don't mind recycled gear sets it would have been nice to see things swapped around more.

Weapons/off hands I get. Job/class specific artifact sets, I get. Everything else IMO should be fair game for glaming.
