Just quoting this like the others to point out the hypocrisy. At first glance, I laughed, but then when I saw this was likely posted in retaliation to https://forum.square-enix.com/ffxiv/...discord-server, I think the idea is toxic. The girls only server is a WONDERFUL idea, but sadly from what we have seen they are actually being problematic to LGBT+ people, and that is not okay.
This however perpetuates the same idea on the other side of the coin, and promotes satire of people who actually need safe spaces, and I think thats not a very kind thing to do. Safe spaces don't make us weak, they actually make us strong, because when we meet likeminded people we can heal and work together. I think that you guys should really think about the message you're trying to convey.

i wish the forums were a safe space from the people who post on it
This place has sure become a cesspool.

Such fragility.

A bros only discord would have only two members with italian names. :3
Cheers
If there's one thing I've learned is that the people that would drive us to create community outside of the general population have absolutely no concept of the reasons why we would want them. They literally can not understand our point of view because their experiences in life have taught them that life is, well, actually pretty easy in regards to how people treat them. There's no wounds for them to heal from, and if we mention our wounds (that most often people like them have given us) they will refuse to believe they exist, and belittle us for claiming them. All while openly mocking us, because when someone is saying they need healing they'd rather try to wound them more.At first glance, I laughed, but then when I saw this was likely posted in retaliation to https://forum.square-enix.com/ffxiv/...discord-server, I think the idea is toxic. The best thing to do is point it out, and then let them wallow in their muck.
Wow, way to be completely unpleasant as a person. If you think only one gender has a hard time then you also don't understand the problems of others ( caused by people like you.)

Agreed, Im also starting to think that it would be best if the GMs started locking threads here more often. It's getting old seeing such hateful bait left to rot. People do it because they know they can get away with it.If there's one thing I've learned is that the people that would drive us to create community outside of the general population have absolutely no concept of the reasons why we would want them. You'll notice how my post mentioned no gender whatsoever.
No the people that are mad at you were the people that told you to just make a community for yourself instead of constantly expecting existing ones that are unfamiliar with people like you to bend over backwards to use your terms, pronouns etc. You spring that on an existing community and expect anything but retaliation and then quite literally start witch hunts on twitter if there is a community that does not want to embrace you or deal with your baggage constantly.
And immediately here is the proof of concept.
I'm sorry that pronouns and referring to people how they'd like to be referred as is a difficult thing for you to process, and I don't know what about my post made you claim I started witch hunts on twitter, and honestly the way you're reacting to what I said with this much projection I really don't want to deal with your baggage either, Champ.
There's a whole lot of you in your response that has nothing to do with what I said.

Agreed
I think you should not get away with your hate against men.
