The thing about the story of 1.0 is that it's categorically not the current team's story, and things about it changed once it changed hands. Not main-story stuff, which to my knowledge mostly held and the events of such are made clear as relevant events, but a lot of the side stuff were tweaked to fit the new direction.

To an extent, 1.0 isn't their story to tell, nor is it necessarily a story that helps.
