Dunno about other regions, but at least in the NA servers, raiders actually log in around 4am every Tuesday when the weekly reset happens. Queue times at those hours are never high.

All the hardcore raiders do. I've been raiding through PF ever since Stormblood. It was always literally the same people every morning on Tuesdays. Obviously statics will have their own schedule, but people would literally either stay up late or wake up mega-early just to raid right after resets.

Can’t keep people entertained if they can’t even get into the game…I’d have to agree about delaying; the “raiders” you refer to are mostly streamers that seem to have no issues with login queues…just sayinI'd have to disagree. Raiders have already dealt with enough delays. They need to keep the content flowing to keep people subscribed. The improvements that need to be made are probably months out at LEAST, if not longer. No real sense in stalling the patch cycle. It is best to keep people entertained while they wait for help to arrive.
I like this idea that everyone is in the queue and no one is playing the game.
The reason the queue exists in the first place is because the servers are at their population limit. That's a LOT of people to keep entertained.
Delaying it will only have the people who have been playing losing interest. Not delaying it may make some people miss out because they can't get into the game.
Either option is going to lose people, and delaying content is going to affect much more than player retention.
It's unlikely that the queues are going to vanish anytime soon. Each delay simply pushes back future content to a further point in time...after Endwalker itself was already delayed twice, at that.

Kinda wild that anyone that's been around more than a year or two would think raiders could spike the queues the way expansion launch does.
Are you for real?
Probably well over 80% of the overall playerbase filling the queues hasn't finished the MSQ yet, and nearly all of the remaining 20% haven't reached a point of only "raid-logging"
Plus it's just the normal raids. Over in less than 2 hours if you aren't picky about which tokens you take, and still over on Tuesday even if you are.

i didnt even msq yet
