The first Final Fantasy XIV Endwalker raid release time is December 21 at 2:00 AM PST / 5:00 AM EST / 10:00 AM GMT / 7 PM JST, which is the same time as update 6.01 drops.. Two weeks from then on January 4, 2022, the Savage difficulty will drop with version 6.05.

Then the login queues will double from what they are now. Not much to look forward to when already can't play from how long the queues are now.

The best thing to do was to delay the content and apply the improvements without further content.

I'd have to disagree. Raiders have already dealt with enough delays. They need to keep the content flowing to keep people subscribed. The improvements that need to be made are probably months out at LEAST, if not longer. No real sense in stalling the patch cycle. It is best to keep people entertained while they wait for help to arrive.

Dunno about other regions, but at least in the NA servers, raiders actually log in around 4am every Tuesday when the weekly reset happens. Queue times at those hours are never high.

Some probably do but not everyone.

All the hardcore raiders do. I've been raiding through PF ever since Stormblood. It was always literally the same people every morning on Tuesdays. Obviously statics will have their own schedule, but people would literally either stay up late or wake up mega-early just to raid right after resets.
