    Gridania's Forgotten West Shroud

    Any 1.0 players ever explored this forgotten zone back in 1.0? Makes me wish we had some kind alliance side-quest to re-claim this forgotten area.

    I heard it was meant for 2.0, but it became cut-content.

    Yea. The reason given that its not in 2.0+ was that it was damaged beyond recognition. Seems silly though. I'm hoping it and the missing Coerthas zones (preferably without the snow) will be added next xpac as per Emet's tease.

    It was briefly available as a PvP map, I believe - then removed after a certain point when the unique ranked PvP maps were taken away in favour of a more streamlined experience.

    I went to all those areas in 1.0 but can’t remember anything unique about them specifically, since the world was just a bunch of copy paste scenery. Would be neat if there ever brought them back though I suppose.

    Yeah I want the West Shroud and the rest of Coerthas back personally. The West Shroud is mentioned by some NPC's and I seem to recall Estinien saying his hometown is an old town from 1.0 in the Eastern Highlands so one can only hope we see them back some day.

    The few times I've done actual Roleplaying, I've claimed my mooncat came from the West Shroud. Which is why no family or home and adventure.
