To be fair, if you quote something that is later removed, usually that causes your post to also be removed. Mods just delete the parent comment and each one that chains off of it in one fell swoop.Lmao one of my comments on this forum got removed.
People throwing insults at each other left and right and there’s blatant transphobia but what I said was apparently beyond disgraceful.
There’s worse things going on than my troll comment. Like the lack of Viera hair and hats - get your priorities sorted out SE. We need more hair.

Square Enix have extorted money from Viera and Hrothgar's limitations, but from the outside looking in it seems barely any of that money is invested back into the limited races. How much money have they made from players
fantasia'ing to and from the limited races? We want more race-exclusive hair.
We want them improved, and we want it done within a reasonable time.

I'm late to this party, but can I join? I'm a G.I.R.L. as well!

This whole thread is a joke! I see no issues with wanting a girl to confirm she is a girl there is tons of LBGTLMGRP discord servers out there. I as a man shouldn't be able to just say I'm a woman with a deep as F voice let them have their "girls only discord" doesn't effect me at all.

1. The discord and those who support it are sexist, and so it should not be embraced by the community.
2. "Safe spaces" are just another way of dismissing different opinions, regardless of merit, and that is toxic.
I hope very few people support this discord. It is bad for the XIV community.
Echochambers are not an inherently a bad thing, I personally feel if they were more transparent and forthright with their reasoning from the start this would not be such an issue. Many would still not agree but the transparency would leave very little room for someone to get the wrong idea.1. DoomsdayerOn the other hand, any community that doesn't close itself off to at least some extent ends up being at risk of being hijacked by troublemakers who seek to threaten and coerce others into conforming to their world view instead of opting to simply agree to disagree.
Quite a lot of people forget that this is a game with a global audience and that not everybody is interested in being dragged into a state of existence where anything and everything is a potential 'issue' to be addressed.
It's a balancing act, I suppose - but having seen many FFXIV focused Discord servers cave in to increasingly bizarre demands I can at least appreciate those who are upfront about their intentions.
On the contrary. I think that walking away and not giving the time of day to the perpetually offended is the opposite of being a 'doomsdayer'. Perhaps such a term is better attributed to those losing their cool over the idea of missing out on the possibility of joining a private Discord server that they were very likely weren't aware of before reading this thread and probably never intended to join it in the first place.

for a year, would you rather be secretly filmed at random moments and have the footage uploaded to your social media or loose $100 when ever you said a curse word?
