Sounds like you are terribly confused on how reaper plays. You have next to no positional requirements compared to other melee.

Only two conditional attacks in the entire kit have potency bonuses for proper positioning. Gibbet and Gallows. That's it.

Missing them every now and again isn't going to hurt you any. They won't cause you to fail a fight.

Even so, its beyond easy to hit them.

You’re not taking into account that you can mess up and double gallows or gibbet, losing massive potency from the empowered versions. Same goes for the enshrouded versions.
