It would make it a lot easier for certain set-ups to work. I suspect that if these items are as I think, they'll probably require the actual primal drops to acquire (an appropriate cost; maybe like 2 headdresses or whatever).
It has Titan though, so it might just be related to the dominant beastmen tribe near each city-state. Perhaps a Grand Company missions will be introduced in which you are asked to create an allegiance with the beastmen and you gain said seal to be protected by their wraith.
I kinda wonder how Hamlet is gonna be, seeing as it's 50/25 hopefully it's setup in a way where Hamlet is always active in each area since the time frames are set perfectly to do it that way. The only issue with that though is the rewards are stretched out in a 4 tool, 2 militia gear, 1 militia accesory and 1 hamlet headpiece system for 8 potential rewards in each area(ignoring the crappy fireworks and dark matter). It be nice if they added some sort of currency to allow people the chance to purchase the rare/ex stuff in that event XD. Even if they do stagger, people will only want to do a specific Hamlet since it has a reward they may want.
There was a thread about this and I agree. Maybe the currency could be used to purchase gear that has added bonuses when in Hamlet (like some of the old XI assault gear). It has Titan though, so it might just be related to the dominant beastmen tribe near each city-state. I predict record low turnout at Garuda tonight.
Is it just me or does it seem like they got the new recipe list mixed up.
You guys are way too excited about AF weapons. They're probably going to be crap compared to materia gear anyway. You'll most likely only end up wearing them in town.
I for one am happy with the patch. Specifically:
Hopefully they're back to their regular effects![dev1418] The activation and cancellation sound effects for the following actions have been changed:
Swiftsong / Minuet of Rigor / Ballad of Magi / Paeon of War
Ya, I mean honestly I can bet gil that from now on, a majority of the fish will only be going to LL hamlet, the ore will only go to Ulda hamlet and the branches will only go to Gridi hamlet because those are the only areas in which you can obtain the Hamlet hat, which is just dumb lol.
First off I'm going to assume you mean 1.21 and 1.22I don't know about you, but I've been extremely satisfied with 1.22 and 1.23. I'm willing to grant them a little leeway in terms of job weapons not being added.
Whenever I'm feeling impatient I just remind myself of the magnitude of changes they're working on. I'm not sure how their staff is divided, but I really get the feeling like ~75% of the people are working on 2.0 specific things. That doesn't leave a ton of people to work on the pre-2.0 items. And as some people have mentioned, we're just coming off of Golden Week. Everyone deserves a break.
I was extremely happy with 1.21. 1.22 was alright, merchantile houses and another primal are nice to have. Was just really looking forward to having a weapon I could maybe work on getting as opposed to just fighting drop rates on primals (Still want my mog axe, getting doubles of weapons you didnt want in the first place is discouraging) so it's a bit of a bummer. Hopefully 1.22b isn't too far off, pld fix (and now job weapons) can't come soon enough.
