Eh quit crying. It's a subpatch which generally was only for hotfixes to begin with. Due to golden week they had to push out as much as they could before they went on a week absence.
true wasn't crying just got ahead of my self

As evidenced by Yoshida's March Letter form the Producer this was never planed as just a "Hot-Fix" Patch. It was clearly designed as an additional content patch to include AF Weapons. The real problem is the fact that they failed to mention anything about any delays. We have become so accustomed to receiving timely information that when they slip up, as they did this time, people react negatively. A simple post via the Community Reps would have avoided much of this. Most people are understanding of the complexities of trying to work on 2 games simultaneously and will accept some delay as long as they know before hand.
It's this exactly. A month and a half ago, Yoshi said he'd keep players in the loop as decisions about job-exclusive weapons delays progressed. After that, not one word was said by any devs or community reps about decisions to delay the weapons past 1.22a. We got to find out from the patch itself that what we were looking forward to was actually not included. As evidenced by Yoshida's March Letter form the Producer this was never planed as just a "Hot-Fix" Patch. If the community is expecting to be filled in if things fall behind schedule, then it makes sense that silence is to be taken as though everything's running smoothly. "Oh, good, there must not have been any more problems because Yoshi said they'd keep us in the loop if there were going to be any more." So understandably, people were looking forward to checking out the new content tonight, and perhaps more importantly, Welcome Back players were expecting to have an opportunity to judge this new content during their ten days back. Now the joke's on them because their hopes were set up by a promise to be kept informed of problems as they arose, and then those hopes were falsely allowed to build into expectations based on the devs' silence.
The problem is not that there is a delay. The community understood when it was delayed the first time, because the devs mentioned it to us as they found out about it. The problem is that the players were not kept in the loop as promised. Instead the rug's been pulled out at the very last second, and no explanation what the heck happened is anywhere in sight. Way to make an impression on those Welcome Back players looking forward to joining us tonight.

When you learn what the words High Chance to be implemented in patch 1.22a means then you can complain. Last time i checked that means we still may not get them in 1.22a.As evidenced by Yoshida's March Letter form the Producer this was never planed as just a "Hot-Fix" Patch. It was clearly designed as an additional content patch to include AF Weapons. The real problem is the fact that they failed to mention anything about any delays. First of all. I was not complaining. Secondly a "High Chance" means exactly that. When I see that then I can reasonably expect to see it baring unforeseen delays. The point of my post was the fact that they did not inform us of the delay, even in the Patch Notes. As I read the Letter I got the impression that they were going to try for the weapons in Ver1.22 but probably would not make it til Ver 1.22a. Different people read things different ways.
Learn up the meaning of "keep you in the loop." They also said they'd keep us in the loop if it didn't look like this content was going to be ready in time for 1.22a. Silence would therefore signify that things are fine and dandy. A promise to keep us informed was not kept and the community was allowed to be lead on. There is no other way to spin it.

I think the main problem was that Yoshida promised to keep us in the loop, and he didn't. I know that some people would be annoyed even if he did tell us about the delay, but at least he would have kept his word, and at least to me, that counts for a lot.

I'm still looking for this quote that he said he would tell us how the weps are progressing cause in the last letter he states that the other 2 hamlets will be in 1.22a and that was it.
Pretty sure that right there says what was coming 1.22a but I might be reading it wrong. In order to deliver the patch to you in time for Golden Week, I’m afraid we’ve had to postpone a number of things. These include job-exclusive weapons, chat log reforms, and other content I touched on last time. With regards to hamlet defense, only Hyrstmill will be ready for 1.22; the remaining two hamlets will go live in 1.22a, which is scheduled for May 10. We also have plans for a patch 1.22b, which is expected to follow shortly thereafter. You can rest assured that we will maintain our pace even after 1.22 is released!
You have to go back a month and a half, because the quote is from the letter at the end of March. It says in his road map there that there is a "high likelihood of a 1.22a release" and then he says at the end of that letter that there's "a chance that job-specific weapons might have to be delayed to 1.22a or later... I'll be sure to keep you in the know on the coming progress." Fast forward an entire month and a half, two patches, and another letter from the producer, and through all of that not a mention is ever made of a decision for job-exclusive weapons to be delayed past 1.22a.
