Did you BLM burn 7/7 garuda weapons before patch?

Mmm nope, don't have 7/7. Ifrit and Moogle could barely hold interest in my LS for a month. Garuda, who's conditions are the same, is suppose to entertain us for nearly 3 months? Convince me the primal fights don't get boring after doing them over a hundred times.

i've heard a lot concerning whether or not the imperial stronghold was to be released with 1.22a but i was thinking, even if it was, i'm sure they would wait until the job fixes so people would refrain from facerolling through the zone with warrior. probably the case with af weapon quests as well.

I got a tip for some of you. If you are bored, play something else. Stop acting like this game is supposed to be your sole source of entertainment and cater to all your needs. So, if your soooo bored, or mad something isn't out yet (regardless if they said it would be out), that means you probably play way too much or have unreal expectations.

Actually for some of us it's more a case we only have time for *one* mmo so we can't just switch over to another mmo if FFXIV gets boring for us or whatever. If FFXIV isn't fun for me I do uni work or play some ps one games...doesn't change the fact that the mmo I picked isn't holding my interest til next patch.

If you like Hamlets this patch was ok though. I was mostly disappointed since I was disappointed with Hamlets in general but then I can recognise interesting mass pve content isn't happening until 2.0 due to current engine/server limitations.

Sure, ok, they've been talking about the things they want to do since March..along with many, many other things. Every day, something pops up.. change this, do this, fix this, etc. And when they do, they start making adjustments, tweaks, fixes and improvements....still, nothing is ever good enough. So, again, spoiled children. You're never happy, until everything you want is fulfilled and then, somewhere in the depths of your little minds, you'll imagine there is something else that hasnt been fixed for just yourself and on and on it goes. Cant you just enjoy the game for what it is, because honestly if you can't, you might as well quit now before 2.0 comes out and you realize then that no, even then, everything you want still cannot be realized. Its not a perfect world and try as they want to make everyone happy, someone's not going to be. And they'll make threads..just like this one!

Bolded the part I'm referring to; "And they'll make threads..just like this one!" The OP's intention with this thread was just to announce that the patch notes are up. I think you'll find he/she are very much agreeing with the whole "it's a lettered patch so don't be so disappointed" movement. But carry on, yay drama.

Actually, a thing i've ran into is that during those circumstances, if you DO enter an instance with a party member doing any of that (most notably mounted), your entire party except the party member enters the instance for some reason.

Wow, don't think I ever experienced that! In that case, I'm glad that the problem's solved. Yet also in that case, it's kind of a bummer how the system that they have to work with is so borked that the only thing they can do is band-aid problems like this instead of actually being able to fix them. For the sake of their future programmers, I have my fingers crossed that they're doing a cleaner job with the 2.0 re-code.

Ahh... now I've gone and said 2.0...

Excuse me while I stare out the window and imagine the breezy field of poppies and puppies that is 2.0...

Exactly. When I'm bored I play this game called FFXIV Forums - General Discussion. It's pretty entertaining.
