I did all the sidequests in Elpis, and nothing confirms that, but it is an excellent headcanon at the very least.

The mount has no actual lore behind it, being both entirely optional and requiring recruit-a-friend feathers, so you could head canon it however you like. Maybe it's an ancestor of Fenrir?

It's gonna be a special cat. We already got this model for the stormblood mount.

You don't seem like you think in-character at all, to the lore of the game and not just in a 'they did this because this' outside-game perspective. So why even reply?

I dunno. There was a brief convo about it recently in one of the latest ilvl cheese threads. I barely use it myself.

The necros baffle me as well. I didn't even spot this as such. I tend to just read the title and have a peek if I'm curious.
