Managarm Mount (SPOiLERS)

I was looking back at what you can get for feathers, and came across the Managarm mount again which I ignored before.

After EW though, looking at this mount, the red color, the design, everything.

It's the species Hermes had to 'unmake' the Lykaones.

So did Hermes prayer get answered? They found their way back to an existence?

I'm not asking in a game design sense, but an in-character sense. Hermes prayed that if they chose life, to return, if that be their will.

Then we have this mount of the same design. (IN-CHARACTER timeline, not which was designed first)

I think it's quite the opposite really. They chose the managarm model specifically because it's not normally used anywhere in the game as an enemy. It fit the bill for not having to make a new mob, sure, but it also was one that fit the bill for a creature that could have been unmade then, never to return like all the other creatures you see roaming around Elpis that are still around in some form in the present timeline.

Of course, if you want to believe that the text about it being assumed a myth or extinct yet you obviously having one as a mount means they came back in some sort of special way, that fits too I suppose. Then again, the English text also has some stupid reference to an infamous DMC line, so everything they write is whatever.

You don't seem like you think in-character at all, to the lore of the game and not just in a 'they did this because this' outside-game perspective. So why even reply?
