Always a bigger fish quest broken

Hello everyone,

I have been stuck on this quest for a while and no google searches help.

After I get the 7 Ichthyosaur's: I get a chat message: "The shadow of an elusive sea creature lurks somewhere nearby!". But I do not get the minimap ping like the shark eyes gives me. That and I have tried to look for it manually, it just doesn't spawn. I have tried abandoning the quest and restarting it, did not work. Neither did leaving and coming back to the area.

I would like to thank anyone who responds and helps me out before posting this!

Edit: I have now tried to restart the launcher and will check after the 3k queue.

I have found a solution to my problem, for any newbies that encounter this: Use "Truth of the Ocean" ability. I feel extremely dumb . But yeah it happens.
