The third quest in the Kobold Beast Tribe story questline, "No-good Zo Ga's Ambition" is not appearing for me. After extensive searching, it's nowhere to be found in my journal and is not visible above the heads of any relevant NPCs. I have met the requirement for the quest (neutral Kobold reputation) and have completed the previous 2 quests, "Highway Robbery" and "How Low Can You Go". To be clear, it is not the case that the quest marker is red and I have not met some requirement. The quest is not visible at all.

I believe the issue lies with the "Smart Bombs" quest item. I'm not completely sure about the order of the events or quests involved but here is what I think happened:

1. I previously accepted the quest "No-good Zo Ga's Ambition" from "789th Order Pickman Gi Gu", and got to the stage where "789th Order Acolyte Ba Go" gives you the item "Smart Bombs".
2. At this point, I switched to doing some of the Kobold Beast Tribe daily quests instead
3. The daily quests "Know Your Place" and "Bo Zu's Blown Cover" both involve handing items to 789th Order Acolyte Ba Go, so I believe these are the quests that caused the issue, though I'm unsure.
4. When giving items to Ba Go as part of one or more of these daily quests, I accidentally handed over the Smart Bombs instead. (I believe this shouldn't be possible as the item is from another quest and isn't supposed to be handed over to him anyway, as it is supposed to be put into a furnace as part of the quest I'm missing)
5. Now that I no longer have the Smart Bombs item, I cannot progress with the quest and the quest does not show up anywhere for me. I think this is because the game expected me to be in an instanced area when the Smart Bombs left my inventory, as far as I can tell from Wikipedia and YouTube.
6. When I talk to the NPCs "789th Order Pickman Gi Gu", "789th Order Acolyte Ba Go", "13th Order Alchemist Ga Zi" and "Skaetswys", I just get generic, default responses, nothing referencing the quest.

Since noticing this issue, I have waited 24 hours and done another set of daily Kobold beast tribe missions, including ones that involve handing items to Ba Go, but the issue persists.

I already reported this to the GM team using the in-game support desk feature, thinking it would be a simple case of adding the Smart Bombs back to my character inventory, or resetting the quest for me in the backend somehow. However, they responded asking me to try a few things and do some research (all of which I had already done, and then repeated extensively) and if all else fails, raise a bug report here, which I'm doing now.
