what about DRG vs Garuda? should work also.

Of course, quite well in fact. I posted some of my impressions as DRG vs Garuda on this thread http://forum.square-enix.com/ffxiv/t...l=1#post679648 The parser Logs are from fights BEFORE i killed her for the first time, but the kill parser looked almost the same. On monday we got our firstkill inluding speedrun with a setup of: 1x WHM, 1x DRG, 2x BRD, 2x BLM, 2x WAR

I think the DRG has better AOE capabilities and longer range then MNK as, thats especially usefull on this fight. First phase i only dps'ed on Garuda, ignoring the plumes tho, as the BLMs did. Second to third phases i nuked the plumes aswell, when they spawned.
