It's also common for people to complain when said MMOs have to make changes and corrections at the last second and suddenly something they were looking forward to the most isn't happening for another 4 months xD.

So really, different business practices, it's not like they dump in the patch then post the notes a week later, they do it right as the servers go offline to give the players something to read and speculate/discussion while the servers are down which quite frankly is a lot better way to handle them.

I saw people complaining on the com rep's post about a planned pop up for party invites.
