PC Controller losing connection intermittently

Platform? (Steam/Windows/Mac)
Which controllers specifically did you try? Provide makes and models
When using wired method, did you disable any bluetooth options to avoid interference?
Do you have multiple controllers or other 3rd party devices hooked up the machine?
Did anything change in the computer's environment that may have contributed to the problem?
Try running a clean boot on the machine to see if that may help (disable any programs that may be interfering with the game such as discord if applicable)

Do you have multiple controllers or other 3rd party devices hooked up the machine? No

Did anything change in the computer's environment that may have contributed to the problem? No

Wired or wireless connection: Both (Wireless is via the Sony Wireless USB Adapter, no other BT HW in the machine).
From my experience the stutter happens more often using the Wireless mode but is still there using an USB connection

I've been having the same issue others are claiming. You mentioning Discord is interesting. I'll test a theory, but I always have Discord on and in occasion the intermitent disconnection of the controller happens rarely, but when it does happen, it does so the entire session. Like 2 or 3 seconds of inaction. Pretty rough when I'm tanking or healing. I can get away with it as DPS, but yeah, this has clearly been an issue and should be addressed by the team and a fix should be forthcoming.

Please don't expect us to turn off our apps. Steam owners need Steam on to actually run the title. Discord doesn't use controllers. So it's confusing.

I really hope the technical team looks up this issue and deals with it quickly.
