Sadly this does nothing. I disabled this feature and it doesn't help at all.

I haven't had any issues for a while but am having constant controller issues since 6.08 release this morning. For instance if I put my character on autorun, he will literally STOP moving or lock inputs momentarily every 30 seconds.

I have done all the steps to remedy previously mentioned and the issue wasn't happening last night. I'm on Windows 10, fully updated drivers, using an XBOX elite controller.

Same issue here with both mine and my wife's controllers. We are both using Xbox Elite Series 2. It only happens with FFXIV.

Which controllers specifically did you try?
360 controller and ds4 controller both wired

When using wired method, did you disable any bluetooth options to avoid interference?
    Yes

Do you have multiple controllers or other 3rd party devices hooked up the machine?
    No

Did anything change in the computer's environment that may have contributed to the problem?
    No

Try running a clean boot on the machine to see if that may help (disable any programs that may be interfering with the game such as discord if applicable)
Can't say if it help or not, it doesn't happen all the time, sometimes it doesn't happen in days and then it happen every minutes for an hour or so

    Wired or wireless connection:
    Wired

During Shadowbringers this issue was much worse because it locked in whatever input I was pressing at the time. Did a fresh install of Windows and now I only lose control of my character for a few seconds at a time. Happens infrequently but has happened in very inopportune moments. This issue is exclusive to FFXIV. I don't run into these issues in any other game.

    Wired or wireless connection:
    Both

As far as I know, this issue has existed for years in one way or another. Hoping that there is some sort of fix for this soon. If there is anything else that I can provide to help the dev team with this issue please let me know.

Which controllers specifically did you try? Xbox one Controller (2016 model)

When using wired method, did you disable any bluetooth options to avoid interference? Bluetooth isn't enabled when wired since i use a xbox wireless adapter for the controller when i want to use the bluetooth feature. An no matter if wired with bluetooth off, or bluetooth enabled an not wired it still would have an unresponsive nature. Very random when it does happen.

Do you have multiple controllers or other 3rd party devices hooked up the machine? No on both

Did anything change in the computer's environment that may have contributed to the problem? From what i have been seeing on Device Manager nothing changes on my end.

Try running a clean boot on the machine to see if that may help: I have done this 3 times since Endwalker an to no luck, an this issue only came in Endwalker itself an has persisted since.

Wired or wireless connection: Both but not ever at the same time. I have an Xbox Wireless Adapter an also i bought a usb cable for the controller just in case. An i have tried both an they both suffer the same issues.

Internet Service Provider: Not sure....why this would be a point to bring up but Spectrum is my ISP....though i doubt the launch of Endwalker all of a sudden the isp would restrict certain access via...my controller. Cause this only happens in XIV since Endwalker other than that there has been small instance of it like back in Heavensward but it was patched or it was a Steam collision. If im playing any other game i dont have this issue be it online or not.

I figured out the issue with mine. The game (and my PC) was recognizing my keyboard as a controller. The game would intermittently prioritize the keyboard over my XBOX One controller.

I went under Devices and Printers > Properties for the keyboard and disabled the "controller support" function. My actual controller works fine now.

Tried it, tried to update all driver including nvidia to no avail.
Always make sure steam is not running.

    Wired or wireless connection:
    Wired

Only happened on FFXIV. It takes 2-4 seconds on every disconnection.
There is no usb disconnection log/sound, confirmed on event viewer, no disconnect/reconnect log.
Happens since EW, it was fine from ARR-SHB

I tried most of the steps already,
the only thing I never try is to wipe out all data and clean install windows.

    Wired or wireless connection:
tried both wired and wireless ...wireless even worth

Just come back to play 6.0 and I never had this issue before when I played 4.0

Welcome to the wonderful world of broken things in FFXIV that the devs don't care about or acknowledge exists.
