Player abusing third party software to initiate harassment and to bully me

This is my experience last night , i must admit that i was truly hurt by what happened and as someone who joined game just 1 year ago, i have never ever met such rude and toxic person who would abuse third party tool to flame and harrass players like that, I am not a perfect player but i will try and be a better player however using numbers outside the game from a 3rd party tool just to flame and discourage other players is abosolutely unacceptble and it totally ruins the healthy gaming environment .Not to mention, reaper is a brandnew job which i take great pleasure leveling and experiencing. I do not understand the concept of which this person had against other players just becasue he uses ACT to parse or show his superiority .Including in the chatlog, he dared to ask me and other melee to play another game, how is this an inclusive gameplay we ff14 community can allow? Frankly i was totally bummed and discouraged by him and had to log off due to that reason alone. As hurtful as it may sound, i just didnt want to play the ex trial with reaper anymore becasue of that, But i will continue my journey and keep learning reaper, i will not be discouraged by such person not worth my time and energy.

My advice to you is to open the Support Desk under System menu in game and file a report there with the info you were trying to make public here.

It is agaisnt the ToS to use said 3rd party tools. However some people do genuinely only use them to self improve. But harrassment is a one way ticket to Mordion Gaol (GM jail).

If I may suggest, and I'm guessing you're working your way through the extreme trials, look for the quest in Radz-at-han that unlocks the raids dummy. You will be able to test your job against a dummy for each extreme and savage raid. If you beat it, you can be sure you are doing your part to get that clear.

This is absolutely reportable. They look the other way on DPS meters unless they're used to harass people, and this is definitely harassment. This guy will likely catch at least an official warning if you report him, worse if its not his first offense.

This is a very clear cut case to report to GMs. And please do - if no one reports people like that, they'll continue on and harass others.

Really only time you can be consequenced for bad DPS is refusing to AoE when asked then you get booted for griefing the dungeon.

Or lashing out at a veteran of your class for recommending but not compelling better play.
