MMORPGs are usually very generic and always the same thing release after release. New quests? They just have to be walk from A to B while maybe encountering a few enemies along the way. Fetch quests? Absolutely necessary for developers who lack creativity.

But in FF14? Things are changing and I like it.

For those of you who don't know, the in the cold scenario is basically metal gear solid in a sense. You don't rush and kill, no, you have to play it smart.

It's different, it was fun, and I have enjoyed the variety of different styles of quests in EW. Too often would I skip quest dialogues because they are so boring in other games. Even in ARR they were admittedly crude and boring. But they kept improving and I think EW really did a great job both with unique quest types and stories.

The variety of quests that aren't just fetch quests is welcomed. Thank you so much for making the game more interesting. If I wanted a bland MMO experience, there are so many out there already.

Please keep adding these unique elements and stories to the game. It's a great change of pace. So for those out there who enjoy quests that aren't just a matter of killing 10 things or talking to random NPCs 10yalms away, raise your hand
